Poet and novelist James Joyce once said:
“I’ve put in so many enigmas and puzzles that it will keep the professors busy for centuries arguing over what I meant, and that’s the only way of insuring one’s immortality.”
To each their own, and you can’t argue with his success since I’m talking about him 100 years after he said this, but when I write something I’d rather it be clear enough for people to understand it!
Clarity beats confusion in my book (pun intended).
I know someone who last week bought a board game that he thought he’d like, but unfortunately the instructions looked like James Joyce wrote them and the game’s rules were impossible to understand.
He got frustrated and put it for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
That’s why I try to keep things simple inside Secret Coach Club …
The monthly newsletters are designed to be read quickly and put into action that day, and the calls and guest expert interviews we do are set up around clarity as well.
