When you first hear Tom Ruwitch advising to tell more stories in your business, you might think he means stories from your life.
But that’s not necessarily the case.
There are lots of stories you can get from out in the world, and then turn them into content (and sales).
For example, a few weeks ago the Food and Drug Administration put out a warning for people not to cook their chicken in NyQuil, because apparently that was a trend going around.
Maybe not as crazy as the “Tide Pod Challenge”, but still kinda weird!
Anyways, Tom took that news story and turned it into an email to his list – and more business for himself.
