I saw a video on YouTube about the best comebacks of all time.
I’m not talking about the rising-from-defeat kind of comeback, but the verbal type.
One clip showed a newscast featuring an athlete holding a small trophy.
As it flashed back to the studio, the male anchor said to his female co-anchor: “I can’t understand how something so small could be so impressive”.
Without missing a beat, she fired back with: “Well, you would know about that”.
Burn …
When it comes to what kind of information coaches should consume, it’d be a mistake to go based on size alone.
I’ve bought 500 and 600 page books that were garbage and stuffed with filler (and that I stopped reading after page 20).
On the other hand, some of the books that I’ve gotten the most from are small – but they got to the point and didn’t beat around the bush.
Every issue of my Secret Coach Club hard copy newsletter is 16 pages (some are 20), which is about 4000 to 5000 words. I intentionally keep them that way and put only valuable info inside its pages, so my subscribers can get through them in one sitting and then take what they learned to go make money in the real world.
The issues feature exclusive content, not stuff that I put anywhere else.
I treat SCC subscribers the same way as I would a client, letting them “look over my shoulder” to see how to get more coaching clients.
Instead of spending 50 hours drudging through a tedious book that won’t help your coaching business, invest in this small (but powerful) resource instead.
The deadline to get the September issue is this Sunday at midnight EST.
