Back in the early 90’s there was a sitcom called “Herman’s Head”.
(It was kinda like Pixar’s “Inside Out”, just 20-some years earlier and without Amy Poehler)
In the show, there were characters representing feeling inside Herman Brooks’ head like Angel (his sensitivity), Animal (his lust and hunger), Wimp (his anxiety) and Genius (his intellect).
These characters constantly squabbled, created confusion, and made it difficult for Herman to perform his daily duties and manage his relationships.
While I have no way of knowing what’s going on inside the heads of the coaches I meet, I do see a lot of frustration and delays with them getting their online programs out into the world.
I talked to one coach who admitted that she’s been trying to finish her course since 2017, but has trouble getting it out of her head. She’s started and stopped a bunch of times and doesn’t know if it’ll ever get done.
