An easy way to overcome the money objection

I recently came across an article that listed the 40 most common sales objections, and the author’s recommended reply for each of them.

The four top objections on the list:

  • “It’s too expensive”
  • “There’s no money”
  • “We don’t have any budget left”
  • “I need to use this budget somewhere else”

The common denominator for each of those is they’re all about the green stuff!

I’ve heard this in the coaching world often, as many coaches complain about it and cite it as the #1 objection too.

They have a great call with a potential client, until near the end of the conversation when they propose working together … and the prospect whips the money objection out of their back pocket.

(It’s not always about the money, they could be afraid of failing and are using money as an excuse, but that’s a whole other discussion)
