The other day I was looking through boxes in the basement and came across something I hadn’t thought about much for years (I couldn’t even remember where I had placed it):
My university diploma.
That”s right – I don’t have it framed and featured prominently on my wall, but it rests in a dusty, forgotten box downstairs while I carry on with my life.
In most cases I don’t see the value in college and university degrees, and I think people would be better off investing their time and money elsewhere – and learn from real life (the “School of Hard Knocks”).
A lot of coaches haven’t gotten enough value from their coaching certifications either …
They feel as though their trainings don’t help much after they’re finished and they didn’t get the bang for their buck.
