A common complaint in the online world is about the abundance of “fake experts”.
They’re the people who read one book, or attend an event, or do a course, and then suddenly announce to the world that they’re an expert at “x”.
They skip the whole “10,000 hours to become an expert” thing and go with 10 hours (or even less).
It could be an expert at copywriting, Facebook ads, lead generation – you name it …
With the proper branding, they can look impressive.
They probably have a flashy website with cool pictures and an impressive design …
And it works (at least for the first sale, but they get few referrals/repeat business).
Every day I’m approached by people who want to partner with me, and my guard is up because I’ve seen so many fake experts.
But when my friend and frequent guest on my podcast Aaron Walker asked to teach my community about masterminds, I had no reservations.
