Whenever I talk with stressed-out, burned-out coaches, I ask them a question:
Do you delegate any of your tasks?
Usually, the answer is “no” (that’s probably why they’re burned out).
When I ask them why they haven’t handed any duties off, the #1 objection is often their budget.
“I don’t have the money to do that now Marc!” they tell me.
I’m not judging – when I started my coaching business I did it on a shoestring budget … I get it.
But here’s the thing:
You don’t need to hire freelancers for full-time, 40 or 50 hours/week of work.
You can inch into it and start them with a few hours per week taking care of the stuff that you shouldn’t be doing.
And once that creates additional revenue (which it should), you can bump up their duties.
Don’t think you have to swing for the fences here – a single will do for now.
On Thursday, Nathan Hirsch will be doing a live training where he’ll show how you can start working with freelancers (even if you don’t think you have the budget for it).
All I’m asking is you keep an open mind and listen to him.
