HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

Here’s something that will help you bring home the bagels

Some people love to be offended.

They get their kicks from it, and are disappointed when they aren’t outraged at something.

They waste their precious time and energy on some pretty crazy stuff.

For example:

PETA is now campaigning against “Speciesism”, which is thinking one species is superior over others.

They’re telling people to change the following sayings, because they could hurt the feelings of animals.

Among their demands:

– Instead of “kill two birds with one stone”, say “Feed two birds with one scone”

– Instead of “Be the guinea pig”, say “Be the test tube”

– Instead of “Beat a dead horse”, say “Feed a fed horse”

– Instead of “Bring home the bacon”, say “Bring home the bagels”

– Instead of “Take the bull by the horns”, say “Take the flower by the thorns”

(These people are nuttier than those demanding that “Baby It’s Cold Outside” be taken off the airways because it advocates rape …)

When it comes to business, I often use the saying “There’s more than one way to skin a cat” when explaining that there are many ways to build a successful coaching business.

It doesn’t mean that I hate cats and that I’m literally proposing that people grab their knives and go round up the cats in their neighbourhood to skin alive.

Extreme political correctness is dangerous for entrepreneurs because it creates an environment where they’re afraid to say anything out of fear of offending a sensitive person.

They become fearful of pushing “Publish” or “Send” because of blowback from some person or group.

So they hold back, play it safe and put out bland content that won’t rock the boat.

If you want to stand out in the crowded coaching world, you have to push the limits and put a strong message out there.

“Watered-down” won’t get your head above the crowd.

I don’t hold back with what I put in the Secret Coach Club newsletter, because I have just one goal:

To help you get more coaching clients and customers.

The January issue goes to print in a few days …
