BECOMING A COACH
Devon played basketball in college, and was then a mentor to youth in the community, and started development programs for at-risk young people. A couple of years ago, he attended a seminar with Jason Womack (a former guest on Natural Born Coaches), and that led to him starting his coaching business.
BIGGEST OBSTACLE
The constant grind that can come with running a coaching business – he’s spent many hours developing content, but in the end he says that it doesn’t feel like working since he enjoys it so much!
GETTING NEW COACHING CLIENTS
Devon gets a lot of new clients from his seminars and speaking engagements (he’s a big proponent of following up with people).
