Mark Schall was born to be a coach. His life experiences led him to become certified with IPEC and start to teach their coaches, and he’s built a successful career that’s lasted a decade. His passion for coaching shines through in everything that he does!
BECOMING A COACH
Mark feels that he was always a coach, but just discovered it about a decade ago. He wanted to be in the helping field but thought it would be as a clinical psychologist. After an internship, he decided that he didn’t want to do that and went into education as a high school counsellor. That eventually led him to life coaching, after he took training from IPEC and began teaching their coaches.
BIGGEST OBSTACLE
Mark considers himself fortunate to not hit any big obstacles in his coaching career (he feels that he got a great head start with his affiliation with IPEC).
GETTING NEW COACHING CLIENTS
He gets new clients through his website, his workshops and his networking. He uses a “10 Foot Rule”, where he considers anyone within 10 feet a potential client!
