BECOMING A COACH
After years in the franchise business, Jim realized the training he was doing with clients was really coaching. In October 2001, he launched his first coaching business and achieved a multiple six-figure income. He closed it as he was the founder and sole employee, and was becoming chained to it. His second business was “No Hassle Newsletters”, selling newsletters to clients globally. Jim started adding multiple streams of revenue, and people started him asking for his advice on how they could do the same. He found that people didn’t want to travel for masterminds and group programs, so he launched virtual groups and coaching programs.
BIGGEST OBSTACLE
Protecting his time (he now only coaches Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and leaves the other days for other tasks related to his business, and family time).
GETTING NEW COACHING CLIENTS
Jim gets clients from referrals and his live event (Dream Business Academy) that he hosts twice a year.
