Lisa Crilley Mallis took the jump from high school education into the world of coaching, and hasn’t looked back! She combines her experience in education with a love of schedules and time management to help her clients become more productive.
BECOMING A COACH
Lisa was a high school math teacher and then an athletic director in charge of 80 coaches and 800 athletes. The stress of the job led to her becoming ill and convinced her to think about changing her life. After evaluating her skills and recognizing that she loved working with people, she decided to start a coaching business.
BIGGEST OBSTACLE
Managing the ebb and flow of client acquisition, and deciding which ways to market for new clients.
GETTING NEW COACHING CLIENTS
Lisa has two main sources for new business: 1) Referrals and 2) Face-to-face interactions – namely with people she connects with at networking meetings and sits on boards with.
