BECOMING A COACH
Garry has been a coach since 2001. He was a volunteer coach in a human transformation program in Toronto, and enjoyed it so much he became a coach for that program. Garry realized if coaching could be done for a living, and being an entrepreneur at heart, he decided to switch over to paid coaching. He researched coaching schools, found the Coach Training Institute (CTI) and started his business. He was challenged to start a magazine for coaches, and in 2003, he began publish “Choice”, a quarterly magazine for coaches.
BIGGEST OBSTACLE
For himself, it’s been finding partners with vision, and seeing a clear direction of what’s next in the coaching industry. For coaches, it’s having the confidence to just get out there and get clients.
