We’re here for a good time, not a long time” – Trooper ​​​​​​​

My little guy is finishing up grade two, and he just brought his yearbook home.

As I flipped through it, I got thinking about how fast time goes.

It doesn’t seem like *that* long ago that I was in elementary school, then junior high school, and then high school … so I know that it won’t be long before my soon-to-be-eight-year-old is bringing home his high school yearbook!

Trooper hit the nail on the head – we’re not here for very long.

That’s why it’s so sad to see people not doing what they would have fun doing.

Stuck in jobs that they hate.

Dying a little inside every day.

Feeling anxious on Sunday nights, and dragging themselves into the office on Monday morning.

Not happy, not alive … knowing that they want to do something else, just not sure what that “something else” is!

For me, coaching is my passion. I don’t dread Sunday nights, since every day I’m doing what I love to do.
