HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

My weird trick for naming anything

by | Feb 25, 2017 | Blog

A few years back, one of my clients was having trouble choosing a name for her coaching business.

She wanted something that stood out, that got people’s attention, and gave her butterflies in her stomach when she looked at it.

I’m not knocking any of that. Naming things like your business, your coaching programs, your book, your podcast, etc is important.

But my clients’ indecisiveness was dragging on for a few weeks, and in business time is money. If it continued, it would have really set back the work we had to get done.

Finally, in a fit of desperation, I used a technique that got her past this mental block.

She had her answer during our call, and she chose a name that she loved for her business (AND the domain was available … bonus!).

How did I come up with this mysterious technique that got my procrastinating client unstuck?

Did I learn it from a reclusive monk who was meditating on the top of a mountain?

Did I decipher strange code from a stone tablet in a dark, musty cave?

No, nothing cool like that.

It’s just a neat little trick that I stumbled across when I was once a frustrated coach trying to name something.

And since then I’ve used it to help multiple clients with their naming problems.

This trick can be used when you’re naming anything for your business. You’ll never have to delay launching something because you can’t find the perfect name for it.

If you never want to be stuck coming up with a good name again, I give all the juicy details for how to do it on pages 9, 10 and 11 of the next issue of the Secret Coach Club newsletter.

It goes to print in just four days (and after that, the special early bird pricing is gone forever):
