HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

My uncensored opinion on woo woo

by | Jun 20, 2017 | Blog

There’s a lot of woo woo in the coaching world, and here’s my two cents on it:

I believe in positive thinking. A negative attitude will hurt you in business and in life as it seeps off you and infects everything that you do.

It’d be nice to accept at face value ideas like manifesting success and that the universe is conspiring to throw everything that I want my way. But I’m not buying into the whole shoot-out-positive-vibes-and-you’ll-always-get-the-parking-spot-close-to-the-door type of stuff.

I don’t want to leave my fate to the stars. I know that I may drive around the parking lot a few times trying to find that perfect spot, and if I have to park a mile away it’s not because the universe didn’t like the quality of my vibes or because I’m not great at manifesting perfect parking spots. It’s just a busy time of day and there are more cars than there are great parking spots available.

There are tons of coaches out there pushing woo woo ideas, and it reminds me of a funny skit that I saw on Inside Amy Schumer. Bill Nye (“The Science Guy”) guest starred and it poked fun at the woo woo world’s insistence on tying everything that happens to “the universe” (you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/embed/pZFLbMN28rw … warning: some of the language in it is NSFW!)

A lot of guests on my podcast have been big on woo woo. I try to be respectful of their opinions, but I’m definitely in the “you have to work hard to get what you want in life” camp.

Positive thinking with action works, but sitting back in your La-Z-Boy with a vision board and hoping to manifest success isn’t the best approach.

To put it in Star Wars terms, I’m more like Han Solo than Luke Skywalker … Han (referring to The Force): “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid”

In business, your blaster is good ole fashioned grinding and hustling.

That’s why coaches who only want to manifest aren’t the best fit for my Secret Coach Club print newsletter. It’s meant for those who take what they learn, roll up their sleeves and implement it.

Action is key.

So far, very few people have unsubscribed from Secret Coach Club. When I look at those who have canceled their subscriptions since it launched, the majority are from the woo woo world, and often they only remained a subscriber for one month!

If your plan is to take what I teach for a month and manifest yourself instant riches, you’ll be disappointed.

On the other hand, I have people who have been in SCC since day one, and have spent that time taking action on what they’ve learned. They’re the ones who have the most success with it (some of them are doing very well).

If you’re only into woo woo, I’m probably not your guy …

But if you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and do what I teach, you’ll do very well like the others coaches with me.

The next Secret Coach Club goes to print in 10 days. Get in on the action here:
